One Block Wonder - November Super Saturday
Class will begin at 9:00 a.m. at St. Gertrude's Church Hall, Woodstock, N.B. on Saturday, November 13th, 2010.

April Super Saturday - April 9th, 2011
6-hour quilt as you go by Linda McAffee
This will be the Six-hour quilt as you go being taught again by Linda McAffee on our April 9th Super Saturday. Linda will have pattern instructions for those participating. This quilt can be made in a variety of sizes depending on how much material you intend to use.
You will need the following materials:
QUILT AS YOU GO - For a comfort quilt, size 46 " X 56", please bring the following Fabric: - if doing two colors, one colour three yards and one of four yards or - if doing each row a different color at least one 1/2 yd of each of four colors --- 6 inch strips of batting --- regular sewing supplies.
PLEASE NOTE: If you cut your fabric and batting into 6" x WOF pieces before you come to the workshop, you might cut your completion time of the quilt to 4 hours!!!!!!!!
Sandra Culberson will be teaching her designer bag, "Scraps, Anyone?" A picture will be posted soon. You will need the following:

- 1/2 yard muslin or thin cotton
- 3/4 yard plainer cotton fabric for bag bottom
- 3/4 yard co-ordinating plainer fabric for ruffle and lining
- 3/4 yard fusible pellon or fleece (not too heavy, eg. Warm & Natural)
- cordinating thread of both colours - i.e. for bag bottom and ruffle
- scraps (see picture)
This is the bag that Sandra will teach on April 9th. Note that you need to bring scraps to complete the top. Isn't it cute! Doesn't it make you think SPRING!. Come and enjoy a fun day with Sandra and Linda, making these two great projects.
